About the Glute Activator
Your sacrum is the triangular bone at the base of your spine that connects your lower back, hips, and glutes. Sacral traction gently decompresses that area, opening nerve channels so your glutes can fire properly again. It's the same principle your physical therapist uses — just in a tool you can use at home in 60 seconds.
Foam rollers and massage guns work on muscle tissue. They can feel great, but they don't address the root cause — a compressed sacrum shutting down your glute activation. The Glute Activator is the only tool designed to decompress the sacrum directly.
Inversion tables decompress the spine generally, but don't target the sacrum. They're also bulky, expensive, and not everyone can use them safely. The Glute Activator targets the specific area that controls glute activation and fits in a gym bag.
Ultra-durable steel construction with eco-friendly biodegradable materials, a patented sacral grip, and a sweat-resistant surface. Built to last.
That's less than two PT sessions. Except you can use the Glute Activator every day, anywhere, for life. Most of our customers were spending $1,000+ a year managing their back pain before finding us.
Results & Benefits
Many people feel a difference after their first use. You'll notice your lower back feels decompressed and your glutes are more engaged when you stand up. For lasting results, we recommend making it part of your daily routine.
The Glute Activator was specifically designed to address lower back pain caused by prolonged sitting and dormant glutes. Over 50% of our customers came to us because of lower back or SI joint pain.
Using the Tool
Lie down. Place it on top your sacrum. Gently traction down on the device for 60 seconds. That's it. To see instructional videos follow the link: Align Athlee YouTube
Ask someone to take a photo of you from above. The top of the grip should touch your waistline and be centered left to right on your body. Position the top of the sacral grip so that it gently hugs the top of your sacrum.
No problem. Roll up a small towel and place it under your forehead instead. Just make sure you have enough room to breathe comfortably.
The Glute Activator works best when you are lying on your stomach. Try placing a rolled-up towel under your hips for added comfort.
Troubleshooting
That's completely normal. The effects can be subtle at first, especially if your sacrum is significantly compressed. Stay consistent — most people notice a clear difference within the first few weeks.
Try placing a small folded towel between your lower back and the tool, and lighten the pressure you're applying. You should feel gentle traction — not pain. Work up gradually as your body gets used to the tool.
If you're feeling sore, try lightening your pressure — both into your body and down toward your feet. Also double-check your placement: the top of the grip should meet your waistline and be centered on your body. Correct placement makes a big difference.
